Hey all. I am trying to link an aspx page to a Twitter Feed. Can Someone help me out with some steps or a link showing how to get this done please.
Do you mean like I did here? http://www.msftwise.com/ Or here? http://www.msftwise.com/contact/Default.aspx
http://www.msftwise.com/ is doing exactly what I want to do. I'm so glad that someone has it done so I can finally figure out how to do it. That scroll down option is awesome too. Can you explain the process of creating one of those? I think I may just be able to use your code in the page source? am I right?
I guess I was wrong. I'll stop writing these posts until you give me instructions. I tried just changing the user but it didn't work.
Sorry just got back to the forums. Which of my Twitter code samples do you want, the main page or the contact page?
I want the one where you can actually see the twitter feed on your own web page and you don't need to actually go to twitter.com. It is on your main page.
OK, use this-> http://dev.twitter.com/ You'll see several options and you can preview the changes. If you still need my code let me know but I think that is all you need.
Unofficial full documentation from the dev who developed the Twitter widget is here: http://www.dustindiaz.com/twitter-widget-doc/ ..or you can just use this to bash together some js: http://twitter.com/about/resources/widgets/widget_search (I think this is the url that Mark meant to post).
Thanks a bunch guys. This totally helped a lot. Do you know of any easy widgets like this for adding music to a site? Right now I am using the silverlight add on for Visual Studio but it is extremely annoying when it comes to customizing colors etc...
