My site (lanexaliberty.org) just started going slow. It worked fine up until this afternoon. I recycled my app pool and it is still slow. My connection to sql server slowed down too. Even opening empty tables in management studio goes slow. I tried going to my site several different times from different browsers and different computers and all of them take 30+ seconds. This was not happening yesterday. Can someone please help advise.
If it was working normally before I would suspect that there is a slowdown somewhere between you and us. It should clear up eventually. There is nothing specific to web125 that would be causing a problem at this time. Check out this link. It shows your site loading in 2 or 3 seconds from different locations around the world.
Site is OK now The site is working fine now. Could there been a high memory process running during the time my site was sluggish? What recommendation would you make for me to troubleshoot if I see slow performance in the future.
First thing you'll want to try is a traceroute. That will show you (generally) where the problem is. See this Knowledge Base article for details.
