Website sizing

I am pretty sure I know the answer to this question, but I had someone ask me and I wasn't 100% sure the answer. They wanted to know if the website can easily be resized so when someone prints pages from the site, it all fits on a piece of paper in portrait setting. I assume the website is a standard template size and in order to print pages, one should just adjust their printer to landscape, but still thought I would ask. Thanks.

 

...Sizing via code can be done but Printing is specific to the drivers/software on the client. You can search on-line for "printer friendly" ways to provide pages.
That's a broad subject but it is entirely possible.

 

There is no standard web site size...if you run a site that will be printed often you should have separate CSS for printing, so you can make sure a page fits on a printed page. You shouldn't assume that it will.
