What are the default characteristics?

Discussion in 'ASP.NET 2.0' started by jssingh, Jul 25, 2009.

  1. Can someone from Discountasp.net confirm the following couple of points?

    1. Trust Level by default for an asp.net 2.0 (Win 2003/IIS6) is FULL TRUST?
    2. The application folders are writable? If they are not writable by default, whats the mechanism to provide NETWORK_SERVICE (or the appropriate account) write access toa particular folder?. This is needed to upload files (images)

I am porting my Znode storefront from a dedicated server to DASP and want to make sure it will work. DASP seems to be the official hosting provider for Znode so I am hoping its not a problem.

Please let me know asap. thanks for the reply.
