What's the Easiest Way to Open an Excel Spreadsheet?

    I want to add a link to an excel spreadsheet on my webpage so when a user clicks the link it opens the spreadsheet in Excel (from the file location) and not the web browser. Is this possible? If so what's the easiest way to do it?

    Office Web Component if you are hosted on IIS 6.0. Note that this only work for excel 2003.
