  1. I was trying to Publish a web service to my site last night. It seemed to be taking an unnecessarily long time. It eventually completed, but now, the rest of my web site is wiped out. I don't even know if I have a copy of the entire website.

So how did this happen? This is very dangerous. Is DiscountASP able to restore my website from the other day?? God, I really hope so or I'm in deep doodoo.

I think you are using the Publish website feature of VS.NET. Publish website always clear every file on the target location before uploading; this is by design.

If you use the Copy website feature, it will not clear your site on the server. see http://kb.discountasp.net/article.aspx?id=10364

As for restoration, please open a support ticket.
