Why does the domain point to GoDaddy every time I update index.htm at DASP?

  1. Greetings to everyone,

I registered my domain with GoDaddy and the website is hosted at DASP.
I set the DNS servers at GoDaddy correctly to point to DASP DNS servers.

It has worked but, it seems, that every time I update the site (index.htm), the domain redirects to the GoDaddy promotion page and it takes some time (few hours) to start working again (ie. directing the domain to index.htm, not GoDaddy).

Is this the default behavior? What am I missing?

    Thank you.

Hard to say without knowing what your domain is.

If your domain is the one I think it is, your account here is less than 48 hours old, so depending on when you changed your name server info, you could be running into some DNS caching by your ISP. I don't get the GoDaddy page when I hit your site.

  3. That is the same way I do most of my domains here.
Once you update the DNS records at GoDaddy it can take up to 2 days at times.
Other times it only takes a few hours.
    All the best,
    Mark
