  1. I'm using a URL in the following format in Windows Explorer to access my ftp site:

    ftp://username:[email protected]/directory/

When I use my master account login, this works fine, but when I use another user which I explicitly granted Read and Write access to /directory/ for, Windows returns an error message:

quote:An error occurred opening the folder on the FTP server. Make sure you have permission to access this folder.</blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">

    Any ideas?

    This is how IE work.

If you are not using your main user, use this path

    ftp://username:[email protected]/[primaryusername]/directory/
