We have flipped the big switch and activated the new Windows 2008 / IIS 7 hosting servers. DiscountASP.NET is the first shared hosting provider to offer IIS 7 complete with most of the features that make it attractive, rather than in some locked-down closer-to-IIS 6 version that other shared hosting providers may try to pawn off as Windows 2008 hosting. Feel free to discuss any Windows 2008 / IIS 7 topics in the new forum. Note that new accounts still default to IIS 6 servers, and we are not abandoning IIS 6 any time soon. IIS 7 is a new product, and as such, we expect it to appeal more to developers than casual users at this time.
