  1. Wordpress is failing on step 2, which is a blank page.

It connects to the remote hosted mysql database, but creates blank tables in the schema. (null data); therefore, wordpress does not work.

    Any ideas?

My remote db host says its this servers rendering of PHP that is causing this to fail.

  2. Let me test it out real quick on my own hosting accounts. Could you please let us know what server you're on? I just want to know what IIS version it's under.

  3. Windows 2008 - IIS 7.0
    web704

I see that DiscoutnASP.NET has announced MySQL has returned, this is AWESOME news for me because I was going to be forced into leaving due to my direction with WordPress.

If we can get this issue mentioned in this thread resolved, I will be able to stay on board.

There were some php issues on certain servers that have been cleared up, your install should run now.

  5. Confirmed. This issue has been resolved.
