  1. I currently support my website with SQL Server and want to add a WordPress blog. WordPress uses MySQL by default, but my existing SQL Server database has info I need for WordPress. How can I build WordPress on SQL Server instead of MySQL?

    I'm afraid you can't.

    [Yet again] I stand corrected.

Though honestly I would be wary of running a WP patch like that. If development stops, no more upgrades. And WordPress upgrades a lot. But that's a risk you run with any patch/plugin.

I guess I don't see the point of running an MS SQL patch when MySQL is available to use.
