  1. Has anyone had problems with wordpress on this server. It seems that the php and mySql provided here are sufficient to run it.

I've seen many users using wordpress on our server. I am not sure which version though.

We run php version 4.3.4 (WordPress requires 4.2 or greater) and MySQL version 4.1.18-standard (WordPress requires version 4.0 or greater), so you should be fine. It runswith more featureson Apache (using mod_rewrite)than it will here on IIS, but it will work. I've done test installs that worked fine.

  4. Hello

    Could you help me please!

I sent this problem message to wordpress support.

I stored all wordpress files in a subdirectory.
    www.mydomain.ch/blog.
(Because in the root directory is my main page. I'd like to open the blog in a subdirectory.)
Then I could start the installing process with:
    www.mydomain.ch/blog/wp-admin/install.php
I can open the blog only with:
    www.mydomain.ch/blog/index.php
If i try with www.mydomain.ch/blog i see a directory with files as:
    index.php
    wp-admin
    wp-app.php
    ?
When I click to comments on my first blog page I also see the same directory with files as:
    files as:
    index.php
    wp-admin
    wp-app.php
    ?
    My setting are:
    WordPress-Addres (URL):www.mydomain.ch/blog
    Blog-Addres (URL):www.mydomain.ch/blog
    Thanks for your support.

    Then I get this answer:
Your host doesn't have index.php setup as the default document. You can try adding this to your .htaccess if you host uses apache servers.
    DirectoryIndex index.php index.html

How can I solve this problem with ISS?

    Thanks for your support.
    krah

You can add index.php as a default doc in the IIS manager in the control panel.
