Worst experience with Discount ASP

  1. i find it very disturbing when you call a company's customer service and support department only to find out that they have no clue what you are talking about. they tell me it isnt possible to forward a domain name... as a programmer anyone knows that this is simple and easy. today i was told to go to godaddy because Discount ASP can not forward or redirect a domain! now it can be done with scripting but discount ASP has no idea how to do so... I do, but would you not think that a company that wants to run a hosting service would educate their employees on the simplest of things like dns settings, domains, hosting, etc?
    Then when asked to speak to a manager i was regretfully declined and told to go to godaddy!

    so i say good day to you Discount ASP and good day to all my reliable hosting services around the world. if you are a new customer that can't afford crashing of websites and you want a good support team behind you when you have a question, DO NOT USE DISCOUNT ASP! if you have a large website, trust me, go elsewhere. the technology on Discount ASP is not up to date and has many, many, many issues and bugs to fix.

    there are many out there that will give you much better quality of hosting and will actually be personable and able to answer questions... My experience with this DIS. ASP is this... it's a mass storage room of servers with a zit faced kid answering emails and phones... his answer is always, check the forum...

    You must have been talking to another host, since we don't provide phone support.

    Also, claims like, "the technology on Discount ASP is not up to date" are so obviously ridiculous that it's impossible to take anything else you say seriously.

    Nothing wrong with being upset, and there's nothing wrong with taking us to task, but you have to have a reason to do so, which you do not.
