Actually, I'm glad you see it that way. I don't want it to be in the way for visitors who are learning about the company - clients have a backdoor user/pass page anyway.

On your portfolio page, links to your sample sites do not open in a new window (as they do from your main page).

Also, on your main page, you have the four quadrants set up (Products and Services, Portfolio, Website Templates, and About Us). Portfolio and Website templates both have space between their last lines and the bottom border (look at "view all templates" and "read more" as opposed to the "view all" in portfolio). View All has the last line up against the border. Just a nit-picking consistency issue. The templates page has the same issue (FAQ and Terms and Conditions are against the bottom border). Also on the templates page, the content inside the light gray border is not centered (as you have taken the time to do on all other pages/borders). Also on that page, you appear to be using your Symbol_Orange_LargeBg background, but there is either a whitetable background or image on top that makes the sliver of visible background look odd.

All in all it looks great to me.
