  1. Hi

I am not sure why Google verification for my site fails every time. I copied and pasted the verification HTML file, clicked create, went back to Google webmaster tools page to verify. I always get the error message below.

HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found
The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

    Module IIS Web Core
    Notification MapRequestHandler
    Handler StaticFile
    Error Code 0x80070002
    Requested URL http://www.advancedpediatricimaging.com:80/google95c22fad1501dc2a.html
    Physical Path E:\web\advancedped\htdocs\google95c22fad1501dc2a.html
    Logon Method Anonymous
    Logon User Anonymous

Sorry for the long email. Am I doing this wrong? Kindly advise.

    Thanks,

  2. From the error, it looks like that file is not there. Can you manually check and make sure google95c22fad1501dc2a.html is in your root directory?

  3. Google verification

Thanks for your prompt response. I looked for the HTML file in my portal root directory and I don't find it!!

    Thanks

I don't think they'll verify a site that they have listed as dangerous:

What is the current listing status for advancedpediatricimaging.com?

Site is listed as suspicious - visiting this web site may harm your computer.

Part of this site was listed for suspicious activity 1 time(s) over the past 90 days.

What happened when Google visited this site?

Of the 1 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 1 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2011-09-20, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2011-09-20.

Malicious software is hosted on 1 domain(s), including imgbbb.net/.

You need to take care of that first. We have instructions in this post.

  5. Thanks for your response. It seems google webmaster tools will not allow me to submit my request for reconsideration until I verify the site. I added the site on webmaster tools page and followed the instructions, still cannot verify.

    Thanks

Have you tried verifying using an alternate method such as adding a TXT record?

  7. Hi

I am not sure how to do that.

    Thanks,

  9. Hi

Thanks for your response regarding adding a TXT record. I was curious if using the HTML has failed, as it does not seem so.

Below is the URL I get after finding and clicking the verification file I created on my site, using the Google html file on the webmaster tools page.

SiteMap Verification File - http://www.advancedpediatricimaging.com/apps/SiteMap.aspx - Administrator Account

Why is that different from the URL Google is using to confirm verification on the webmaster tools page, below? Is that why verification has always failed?

    http://www.advancedpediatricimaging.com/google95c22fad1501dc2a.html

    Kindly advise,

    Thanks

  10. Hi

I am pleased to inform you that Google has lifted the warning on my site.

    Thanks for you support
