Hi, I'm not sure what you are using to connect to the database server. You should be using SQL Server Management Studio, and we provide instructions on how to connect in this Knowledge Base article: http://support.discountasp.net/KB/a186/how-to-connect-to-sql-server-2008-using-sql-server.aspx If the password you are supplying is incorrect, you can change it through the Control Panel: https://my.discountasp.net/mssql.aspx
Please make sure that you are using the correct password for your database. The password for your hosting account and the database password can be different from that of your control panel. If you are unsure of the password, you can change it from the control panel at https://my.discountasp.net/mssql.aspx . You can also test the connection from your computer to your database by using the SQL Sever Management Studio, please see the above link which Tasslehoff provided. If you are able to connect via the SQL Server Management Studio you should be able to configure the aspnet_regsql.exe command for creating the ASP.NET membership roles.
