We are interested in increasing the security, so that we reduce the change of getting blocked or marked as spam by the recipient systems. All our mail is sent from our site on DiscountASP.NET. It is sent through the provided mail sever. We have just implemented an SPF record. Is DKIM and or DMARC worthy of investigation? DASP support it.
DKIM simply uses DNS txt record. So, yes, you can generate and add a DNS txt record. Sorry, have not look into DMARC..
I have already set up an SPF record (v=spf1 a mx ... etc) and am using the DNS-manager to try and enter a DKIM record (v=DKIM1; k=rsa; ... etc) but the DNS-manager keeps saying "Record already exists." but if I hit cancel, it's not there. Is there a better way to set up both a SPF and DKIM?
I suggest you open a ticket for this one. Some times an orphaned record stays on our database. Open a ticket concerning about this and we'll double check for you.
