I have lost my website project - I need to restore it

    Hi team,


    I have already published this website in my discountasp.net account. (using webdeploy or FTP i dont exactly remember)

    I accidentally deleted my website project from my computer and iam now unable to restore it.

    Now, I used FTP client and downloaded all the published content manually to a folder and opened it in visual studio and was able to create a solution file and am sucessful in running the website on local host. The whole code seems to be working fine.

    But i have noticed that Code Behind files are missing (aspx.cs). I need these files to make changes and continue with the project.

    Could any one guide me how to get these files ???

    Could you recommend a best way to deploy websites

    It really depends on your preference. In general, using VS.NET to deploy a precompiled website is the best option.
