can't connect to beta db

    I can connect to my production 2005 db from IIS Manager db manager with no problem.

    After triple-checking connection config, when I try to execute a query using a connection to sql 2008 from db manager I get a 'Failed to connect to server.' exception.

    I have successfully connection to 2008 using SSMS in the past but now attempts to connect fail with a timeout exception.

    Any thoughts?

    I'm getting the same thing now on the IIS7 Test server and forgot to ask them about this. [​IMG]

    Same as you I verified theweb.config conns last night, even created new ones in-case my eyes were cloudy. [​IMG]

    Hopefully one of the guys will chime in on this as I can verify the condition currently exists.

    Currently, you are not able to connect to the SQL 2008 beta box using the IIS Manager db Manager.
