Editing a website hosted by DiscountASP.net

    Hello,
    I would like to edit a website that is hosted by DiscountASP.net. I do not have access to the original files that were uploaded to the site and the developer that made the site 14 years ago is not responding.
    I have never edited a website hosted on a platform like this.
    My questions are:
    1) How can I download the files that were used to make the website?
    1.a)After downloading, how do I upload the edited files back to the website?
    OR
    2) Is there a way to edit the code for the website on the Control Panel?

    I'm sorry to hear that you cannot get in touch with the developer of your site.
    The control panel is a management tool for your hosting account. It doesn't contain an editor for website files.
    You can download and upload website files using FTP.

    Please contact our billing department - billing at discountasp.net and they can assist with getting access to your account.
