I know that full-blown Excel cannot be installed on the server, but I was wondering if it would be possible to have the Office Web Component (OWC) installed and registered? I am converting a very old client from an intranet-based platform to an internet-based one. I want to have their website hosted at discount asp, but I need to be able to create Excel files as the user performs their normal data entry. I don't have the time and they don't have the money for me to recreate a web app that is 15 years old and running fine. Their problem is that they are going to have to replace their local computer which means setting up IIS and all that stuff. I want to be able to host them on discount asp
