  4. Do you know what the plan is for when IIS7 is officially released? Will existing IIS6 accounts transfer to IIS7 or is it going to be an add-on?

DiscountASP.NET customers can activate a free IIS7 beta hosting account via their control panel (https://my.discountasp.net). After you activate the account, you will be given your ftp address, url, and login information to the beta server.

  8. Hey guys, have a quick Q about this hosting. Is the IIS 7 host seperate from my registered account with DASP? ie: If I sign up to IIS 7 would it affect my ASP.Net 2.0 work, or is it kept seperate?

    Cheers,
    Dave

  9. IIS 7 resides on it's own server so it should not affect your main dasp account. So you should be free to fully test it out.

  10. Canyou attach my existing domain name to IIS7 website for an extra fee?

  11. Takeshi Eto

    Takeshi Eto DiscountASP.NET Staff

No, we do not attach customer domains to the IIS7 beta account as it should not be used for production websites - since it is still in beta. We wipe the box and reinstall new versions of IIS7 and the box will be wiped clean and taken down when IIS7 is officially released.

  12. How do I log onto the IIS7 ftp site that's been assigned to me?

I've got the URL, username and password, but none of that works.
