Lets Encrypt Free SSL

    Does DiscountASP.Net support https://letsencrypt.org/ ? They have a listing of hosting providers that support it, but this provider is not on the list.

    I read in another thread on this forum that you do support it.

    If you do support using a free certificate from letsencrypt.org, are there any instructions about how to install it here? The instructions on letsencrypt depend on whether or not a site user has shell access, whatever that means.

    Can someone please provide some guidance?

    To use any SSL cert, you'll need to add the SSL add-on. With the SSL add-on, we include a RapidSSL cert. So there is no need to use let's encrypt. Let's Encrypt is "free" but requires to reinstall your cert every 90 days. With RapidSSL you wouldn't need to reinstall every 90 days.
