  1. We all got used to the Surface Area Config too in SQL Server 2005...
Where is SAC tool in SQL Server 2008?

    Look here:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/sqlrem/archive/2008/02/29/where-is-sac-tool.aspx

Note: If you have SQL Server 2008 installed and running with other version instances the new 2008 CM will show them.
Nice thing is, if you make a mistake when you install SQL Server 2008 you can change the "Log on as" in the new CM.
It will also list all of your services, named pipes, protocols, Agents and IDs plus if they start Automatically or Manually.
    Love it. [IMG]

Yes, it is removed in SQL 2008 and implemented in the new Policy Management
