Go to the Control Panel to the Account Info/Edit page [https://my.discountasp.net/account-info.aspx] where you'll be able to see your full FTP username. It'll be something like 123456|username, so make sure you're using the whole thing.

Keep in mind that the 123456|username format only applies on IIS 7 boxes. On Server 2003/IIS 6 servers just the username is required to log into your FTP site.
